Dr. Dame Daphne Sheldrick became world famous with her elephant orphanage. Visit the baby elephants and become the godfather of one of the pachyderms.
Nairobi's elephant orphanage is located in Nairobi National Park and can be reached over Magadi Road. Under the experienced direction of naturalist Dr. Dame Daphne Sheldrick mainly elephant but also a few rhino babies are raised here, who have lost their parents due to poaching or other circumstances. Watch the elephant orphans playing while elephant keepers give a speech about the animals.
If one of the pachyderms attracts your special attention during your stay you will have the possibility of adopting one of the animals.
