Beaties of nature, a diversified animal kingdom and interesting cultures are waiting for you. The most impressing natural wonder is the Victoria Falls which you can easily combine with a safari through Botswana.
Zimbabwe's climate reaches from subtropical to tropical with humid and partly sticky hot summers (up to over 35 C) and dry seasons with comfortable warmth (about 25 C). Within the heights which form the main part of the country, the summerly heat is moderate (25 to 30 C) and during winter there might be moderate night frost from time to time (to -5 C). The rainy season lasts from November till March during which about 90 % of the annual rain is falling (1000 mm in average). The average temperature in the capital Harare is at about 20 C, elsewhere at 19 - 22 C.
The best travel season for game drives and overland tours in Zimbabwe is from March to November. In the months from June till September there is only slight rain fall (especially in the area of the Victoria Falls, Hwange and Chobe). During the rain season from November to March the Victoria Falls are especially impressive.
